Brown Adipose Metabolism
One promising approach to combat the diabetes and obesity pandemics could be to pharmacologically mimic the catabolic, calorie-burning action of brown and/or beige adipose.

Target

The TARGET project is a collaboration between The Center and The Children’s Obesity Clinic, Department of Pediatrics in Holbæk, with the aim to identify and examine human genetic variation as well as gut microbiome profiles, which influence the development of childhood obesity.
